The Muddy Waters Pub

The Foundation  presented a cheque for $5000 to the son of the late Wendy Collins, an employee of the Muddy Waters Pub in Nanaimo.  Wendy was a cancer patient who had worked at the Pub for 18 years.  Bing Smith and Christine Coletta, Foundation board members, attended a fundraising at the event at the Pub. The Foundation offered to match the funds raised at the event up to $5000. 

UPDATE We  were saddened to hear that Wendy passed away in January 2010.  Our deepset sympathies go out to her family.
